Another law firm has signed up to occupy space in one of downtown Denver’s newest buildings, Union Tower West.

Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar and Scott LLP will lease 25,181 square feet on the 12th floor of the building, which includes 100,000 square feet of office space, 10,000 square feet of retail and a 180-room Hotel Indigo.

Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar and Scott LLP have an office at 1899 Wynkoop St., but plan to move into Union Tower West in fall 2017.

“We look forward to reinforcing our culture of excellence, teamwork and quality with our new Denver office,” said Skip Herman, Bartlit Beck managing partner. “The size, location and flexibility of the building will improve the way we work together to deliver high-quality representation to our clients.”

Union Tower West is currently under construction at 1801 Wewatta St. across the street from Denver Union Station. Developer Portman Holdings expects that the building will be complete in December.

In May, Portman announced that law firm Husch Blackwell LLP would lease the ninth and 10th floors of Union Tower West.

“We are very happy to have Bartlit Beck as a part of Union Tower West,” said Travis Garland, director of leasing at Portman Holdings. “After this transaction, the building is 63 percent leased with only one full floor and one partial floor remaining.”
