For many years, Downtown Atlanta was the forgotten sub-market. Today, things are rapidly changing for the heart of the city center.
Downtown is attracting increased development dollars, tenants are moving into the urban core from all over the metro region and out of state, Georgia State University continues to change the fabric of Downtown by bringing life to the streets and occupying some of our most historic buildings, and soon streetcars will return to make Downtown’s walkable, historic streets even more enjoyable. All of this is creating an urban renaissance in Downtown with an energy that is increasing the number of transactions and luring everyone from tech startups and innovative nonprofits to creative agencies and Fortune 100 companies.
