Last week, the Portman Service League had the privilege of spending the afternoon with the children and staff at Hillside, Inc. for a festive and heartwarming Fourth of July celebration. The event featured a pizza party, patriotic cookie decorating, and lots of smiles and laughter, creating joyful moments for the kids and offering appreciation to Hillside’s dedicated team of caregivers and mental health professionals.
Hillside has long been a vital part of the Atlanta community, providing life-changing residential and community mental health services to children and families. We’re proud to support their mission and to share in the work of creating spaces where kids feel safe, supported, and celebrated.
We’re so grateful to our Portman volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this event so special. It was a meaningful reminder of the power of community, connection, and small acts of kindness.
