Many people outside of real estate aren’t familiar with the term “adaptive reuse.”
However, numerous urban office workers, apartment renters and others are “”though perhaps unknowingly “”supporting this concept. They may be foodies who enjoy eating at a new restaurant in what used to be a warehouse, or young professionals renting lofts in a repurposed factory. Adaptive reuse is all around us, and the trend is gaining momentum both nationally and globally.
