Chief Development Officer, Travis Garland, spoke at Georgia Tech during the P3·EDU 2025 Higher Education Summit, hosted in partnership with the Business–Higher Education Forum.
We were proud to have Travis join a strong lineup of national thought leaders to discuss emerging trends and best practices for public-private partnerships in higher education. The conversation highlighted how institutions and developers can work together to deliver spaces that advance innovation, industry collaboration, and student success.
As part of the panel, Travis shared our team’s experience developing CODA, our mixed-use project in Tech Square that continues to set a benchmark for bringing together academia, research, and industry under one roof. CODA’s high-performance computing center, vibrant food hall, collaborative workspaces, and connection to Georgia Tech’s research ecosystem served as a case study for how thoughtful design and strategic partnerships can elevate a campus district and strengthen the surrounding community.
We’re grateful to Travis for representing Portman and contributing to an important national dialogue on the future of higher-education ecosystems. His insights reflect our ongoing commitment to creating environments that empower innovation, support economic growth, and foster meaningful collaboration across sectors.
