VP Development, South Region
Robert currently oversees the South Region (Georgia, Florida, and Alabama) for Portman Industrial where his responsibilities encompass all areas of development, including land acquisition, entitlement, financings, construction, leasing, and dispositions.
Prior to joining Portman Industrial, Robert was a member of the development team at Portman Holdings, the firm’s office and hotel development platform. In this role, his responsibilities included sourcing and underwriting development opportunities and facilitating the execution of project financings.
Robert previously worked with Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotels and Hospitality Group where he was responsible for a broad range of projects, including transaction advisory, asset valuations, and investment research. Robert graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance and is currently a Master of Business Administration Candidate at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Robert is a Fellow with Goizueta’s Center for Alternative Investments, Co-President of the Goizueta Real Estate Group, and NAIOP National Developing Leader.
