Moore Building
Named after Elvis Presley’s former guitarist Scotty Moore, the building is located on the previous site of Moore’s recording studio Music City Recorders, later known as Studio 19. Taking cues from the 1970s and the old studio, the interiors will feature subtle music references and wood elements in a modern and refined workplace setting. The common area of the 8th floor sky lobby connects to an 11,000 SF amenity deck with views of Midtown and Vanderbilt University, offering outdoor space to spread out or gather. The activated retail on the ground floor will include an extended lobby with one of the city’s first porte-cochere environments.
About the Project
The Moore Building is a 15-story, Class A office tower that broke ground in early June 2021 after a year of COVID-19-related construction delays. The project, located in Nashville’s Music Row neighborhood within walking distance to Broadway, will contain approximately 231,000 SF of office space and 8,500 SF of ground floor retail space. Nashville-based architect Gresham Smith was brought on to design an amenity-rich, multiuse tower that is set to become another music city icon given its prime location and storied musical history.
