Scott Ziegler
Scott Ziegler is a Senior Vice President of Mixed-Use Development with extensive experience across large-scale real estate development, acquisitions, and capital markets. Prior to joining Portman, Scott served as a Managing Director at Hines, where he led complex development, acquisition, and financing initiatives nationwide.
Over the course of his career, Scott has been involved in more than $8.5 billion of real estate investments spanning all major property types throughout the United States. His background includes senior roles at Canyon Partners Real Estate in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for debt and equity investments, as well as positions at Lubert-Adler Real Estate Funds in Philadelphia and Bank of America Merrill Lynch (now BofA Securities) in New York, where he was a member of the real estate, gaming, and lodging investment banking group.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a Master of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute’s Suburban Development and Redevelopment Product Council.
