Mahesh Mani

As Vice President of Asset Management, Mahesh Mani oversees the management and operations of Portman Holdings’ portfolio across various regions and asset types including office, industrial and retail.  With more than twenty years of real estate experience, he is responsible for all aspects of asset management including leasing, operations, project management, and lender and partner relationships.  Prior to joining Portman, Mahesh was the Asset Management leader for the Southeast at Rubenstein Partners, where he managed a 3.3 million square feet of office and mixed-use assets in the Atlanta MSA.  He was responsible for repositioning and stabilizing its value-add portfolio, loan modifications, major capital projects and dispositions, as well as supporting acquisition underwriting and due diligence.  Prior to that, Mahesh lead asset management activities at investment banking, private equity and publicly traded real estate platforms.

Mahesh received his Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Study of Religion from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, after which he held management consulting roles at Accenture and KPMG.  He earned his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
