Katie Tolson

Katie Tolson serves as Vice President at Portman Residential, where she leads multifamily development projects across Texas. She brings over 18 years of experience in real estate development, with a strong track record in land development, entitlements, design, and construction management.

Prior to joining Portman Residential, Katie was Vice President at Cypress Invest, where she directed the development of more than 1,400 multifamily units and over 130 acres of mixed-use land across Texas and Colorado. Katie began her career as a civil engineer and brings a technical foundation to her work, having managed infrastructure design and permitting for high-density urban projects. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University, graduating magna cum laude.
