Portman Holdings developed this convention center hotel in partnership with the City of Charlotte as part of the city’s economic development initiative. The development is located in Charlotte’s central business district, and includes a light rail station that connects guests to city-wide transportation, as well as a 1,650-space parking garage. It opened in 2003.
