Rahul AnandManaging DirectorRahul is responsible for business and financing strategies, policies and practices related to Portman Holdings’ developments in India. He has ten years of experience in corporate and real estate finance, project management , development and architecture. Before joining Portman Holdings, Rahul was with Jones Lang LaSalle, most recently as Director of Asia capital markets & corporate finance in their Singapore office. In this position he was instrumental in closing debt and equity transactions of over US$ 1 billion for large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects. Previously, he held various leadership positions across regions including Jones Lang LaSalle and Clark Ventures in the US, 3M Corporation and the Architecture firm of I Chaney & Partners in India. Rahul earned a B.A. in architecture from the College of Engineering and Management, University of Pune, and a MBA from the College of William and Mary. -
Tirthankar ChatterjeeDirector, ConstructionTirthankar is responsible for finalization of project briefs, budgeting, project execution, schedule and cost monitoring for Portman Holdings’ developments in India. He is also responsible for all facets of project management related to project development. Tirthankar has 20 years of experience in project management and execution across industrial, commercial, retail, residential and hospitality sectors. Previously, he held various leadership positions including Synergy Property Development Services, Pvt. Ltd., where he delivered over 6 million square feet of space, as well as Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd., Bombay Dyeing and Birla Technical Services. Tirthankar earned a B.E. in Civil from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. -
Sushant PoteSenior AssociateSushant is responsible for sourcing, analysis and structuring of new investments in developments in India. He will also be involved with monitoring the investments and providing periodical financial reporting. Sushant has over six years of experience in the areas private equity and information technology. He previously worked with Landmark Holdings, where he was part of an investment team with an excess of $250 million of real estate projects in India. He also previously held investment roles with Atos Origin and Infosys. Sushant earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Pune and a MBA from IIM Lucknow. -
Mehul ZaveriManager, Accounts & FinanceMehul is responsible for providing asset management, operating analysis and transaction structuring in respect of Portman Holdings’ real estate portfolio in India. He has experience across the fields of audit and compliances, corporate finance and taxation in India. Mehul previously held a managerial position at Mumbai-based real estate developer, Vardhman Developers Ltd., leading the Finance and Accounts function of the company. He also completed a three-year internship with A.F. Ferguson & Co. Mumbai. Mehul is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
