The site of the Shanghai World Expo 2010 sits on 5.28 square kilometers along the Huangpu River. Since the 2010 World Expo has ended, The Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination has selected Portman Holdings as development advisors for the repositioning and redevelopment of Phase 1 of the site, which includes hospitality, retail, office, exhibition, convention and entertainment amenities.
