This five-star luxury hotel opened in 1987 as part of the Marina Square mixed-use development, which Portman Holdings developed in partnership with a large group of Asian capital sources, including Singapore Land, Shing Kwan Investments, CY Paul, Lim Soe Long, United Overseas Bank and Overseas Union Bank. It is designed for Singapore’s international clientele. It features a 35-story atrium and a 1,368-seat theater. The hotel is linked to the surrounding mixed-use development (including retail, office, and other hospitality space).
