Dean Wilkerson
Senior Vice President of Construction

Dean has more than 30 years of experience in construction and architecture, with a track record of excellence in leading the estimating, scheduling, buy-out, document control, financial tracking and closeout of large-scale projects. As senior vice president of construction for Portman Holdings, he has project management responsibility for many of the company's international projects and provides centralized oversight and accountability for Portman's overseas construction management activities.

Prior to joining the Portman organization, Dean was Project Director for HDC International, LLC, with responsibility for the recently completed Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center, a $227 million mixed-use project consisting of a 500 room hotel and 330,000 square foot convention center. Dean also worked as a senior project manager for HDC International, Gulf Bay Companies, Bovis Construction Corp. and JJW Construction, Inc., in which capacity he oversaw more than $800 million in direct construction cost. Dean attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he studied chemistry.
