Brett Oliver
Development Manager
With a background in construction, and a focus in preconstruction, Brett manages the implementation
of ongoing domestic projects for Portman Holdings. As the owner’s representative, Brett interfaces
daily with architects, engineers and contractors to guarantee that projects are accurately planned
and budgeted at the conception stage. He then manages the development process through completion to
ensure they are delivered on time and under budget.
Before joining Portman Holdings, Brett worked at the headquarters of Holder Construction Company in Atlanta as a
member of their preconstruction department. While there, Brett participated in projects throughout the U.S. with construction costs ranging from $2
million to $110 million. He worked closely with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors to set up each project for success,
ensuring that the owner’s schedule and budget objectives were achieved while delivering the optimum value.
Brett earned a B.S. degree in building science from Auburn University, and is a member of Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders.
