Neal Kamin
General Counsel

Neal Kamin has been with the Portman organization since 1982 and has served as general counsel since 1985. Neal is responsible for closing transactions related to the acquisition, development and financing of the firm’s real estate projects, which are often valued in excess of several billion dollars. Neal has also provided legal services required in connection with the ownership, management and operation of properties owned and managed by the Portman companies, including office buildings, hotels, and trade marts.

Prior to joining Portman Holdings, Neal served on the legal staff of Life of Georgia overseeing real estate investments. He was also an associate with Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy in Atlanta.

He received both his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan.
