R. Dayne Evans

Dayne plays a key role in sourcing acquisition opportunities in the United States. He interfaces with real estate professionals in multiple markets around the country in order to track those that are ideal for investment. He is responsible for implementing systems and processes to track geographic and macro performance of the various asset classes. Among the trends Dayne oversees are development activity, transaction activity and trends, capital markets trends, debt market trends, land and development costs, government/regulatory/political isssues, and micro issues in specific target markets around the United States. Dayne also sources, qualifies, and develops relationships with commercial real estate brokers and potential joint venture partners in seeking new investments for Portman Holdings. As a member of the development team, Dayne also performs financial structuring and conducts project feasibility analyses for Portman Holdings' domestic and international development projects.
Previously, Dayne was a senior financial associate in the financial consulting group at Cushman & Wakefield of Georgia. While there, he performed multiple valuation analyses on more than $80 billion of commercial real estate, consisting of office, retail, and industrial/flex space, as part of the large asset sale process. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was a real estate analyst with ACG Professionals, Inc. Dayne has also completed internships in the real estate finance division at Wachovia.
Dayne has a B.B.A. degree with a concentration in marketing from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He is a member of Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders and a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Georgia.
