Tom Collins
Vice President

Tom is responsible for business and financing strategies, policies and practices related to Portman’s developments in Korea. Based in the Seoul office, he has more than 17 years of international investment banking and finance experience as well as Korean public sector experience.

Before joining Portman Holdings, he served as an executive director and head of the Strategic Industries Group for the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ). In this role, Tom sourced, negotiated, executed and managed overseas and domestic investments to support development of the $200 billion real estate project of which Portman’s Project 68, Songdo is a key part. Prior to IFEZ, Tom held various senior executive positions in finance and investment banking with such firms as Caspian Securities, Lazard Freres and Nomura, with a focus on emerging markets.

Tom holds a B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross. He is proficient in Korean and Spanish and has lived overseas in London, Hong Kong and Seoul.
