Chris Blust
Construction Project Manager
As Construction Project Manager, Chris provides program management for Portman Holdings’ international development projects. He has a track record of delivering large-scale, fast-tracked projects on time and within budget. He is involved in all aspects of construction and design oversight including estimating, bidding, contract negotiation, scheduling and budget tracking through closeout. With a special emphasis placed on cost and schedule tracking, he has been instrumental in helping establish our information and project management systems across the globe. He is currently based in Portman’s Shanghai office.
Prior to joining Portman Holdings Chris was a Project Manager for JBE Inc. responsible for program management of the $200 million Indiana Live! Casino in Shelbyville Indiana. He previously served as a construction manager for various projects in South Florida and Chicago.
Chris graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in Construction Engineering and Management and is currently studying Mandarin Chinese.
