As Chief Information Officer, Simon is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and operations of the company’s technology infrastructure, both domestically and on an international level. By analyzing current business practices and tools and adapting them to reflect an ever-changing technical landscape, Simon keeps the Portman companies at the forefront of new technology.

Simon has been with the Portman organization since 1982 and has instituted numerous changes, ranging from the execution of the first micro-computer system, to the implementation of CAD (computer-aided design), to the integration of BIM (building information modeling). As the company has grown internationally, he has overseen the expansion of information technology to the Shanghai, Seoul and Mumbai offices.
