Described as a “city within a city,” Shanghai Centre was developed to serve the needs of the international business community in China. The first and largest mixed-use complex in Shanghai, it is composed of three towers and a seven-story podium. Two 34-story towers providing a total of 472 apartments flank the central tower, a 48-story, 578-room Portman Ritz-Carlton hotel. The seven-story podium includes office and retail space, in addition to an exhibition hall and separate 1,000 seat theater.
